Avoiding the void 1984 is the first London venture for Reading party people Uncle Paul’s Toilet Rave Crew who for the past 2 years in Reading ran an electronically eclectic night with artists such as Dan le Sac and Christopher D Ashley pre-Sunday Best days as well as Wrong Music’s Shit Mat and Mully all under a canopy of glowing toilet roll and a backdrop of vintage porn and eye surgery.
Now moved to London they have reformed their party venture into Avoiding the Void Since 1984. First with a roof lifting party featuring Debasser, Pixelh8, Shinra + The Fez, second with bass masters Paul Blackford + Smashback in June they are thirdly going to revisit The Macbeth in July with a Love Love Records special showcase party.
