Let's just have some fried chicken and go from there.

About Me

Check out my dance website at Swing Jam Productions
I like the following (in no particular order and not all at once):
-jokes, both appropriate and inappropriate
-lindy hop
-poker
-children
-bad action/sci-fi movies
-international travel
-chicken
-people
-bowling
-karaoke
-shopping at H&M, as that store is totally sweet
I do NOT like the following (in no particular order and not at any time whatsoever):
-sitting in the middle seat of an airplane
-negative people
-wearing jeans and suspenders simultaneously
-People who aren't nice to beginning dancers
-most music made after 1997
-constantly forgetting people's names..
-smoking
-long breaks between new episodes of Lost
-The fact that I never saw MC Hammer in concert
I have a love/hate relationship with the following:
-working out
-movies that actually make me think
-chinese food
-hot weather
Trivial things I need to work on to better improve myself and make the world a better place: (mind you, I'm not working on all of these all at once)
-parallel parking
-my penmanship
-speaking Swedish in a not completely laughable manner
-ironing shirts all at once, not just one at a time when I need them
-not smiling all the time when I travel to foreign countries, as they think I'm out of my mind
Ultimate and not-so ultimate goals:
-knitting a scarf (any volunteers willing to show me how)
-bowling a 200
-Visiting 30 different countries
-learning another language fluently
I wouldn't say this list is comprehensive....YET!

My Interests

Lindy Hop, texas hold 'em, singing off key, traveling around the world, laughing loudly and often.

I'd like to meet:

People who can have fun without any help.

If you never laugh hysterically then we are unlikely to become good friends. More likely enemies... mortal enemies!

Music:

Swing, Old School Rap, and the lovely music played at The Rickshaw Restaurant.

Movies:

Shark Attack 3: Megolodon might be the greatest film ever.... though Frankenfish is genius.

Television:

Lost, The Office, The Daily Show, Ninja Warrior. Oh damn, Lost starts again on January 31st! My weekly Lost party will now move to Fridays.

Books:

I tend to read when I travel, but not so much at home. I do like Influence by Robert C. Cialdini, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and Pride & Prejudice. Yes, I read Jane Austen and that makes me quite man-ly.

Heroes:
