About Me

Formed by two friends whose lifelong addiction to music and art began together as wee lads during the early Reagan era, SIRS is the stripped-down sound of knowing better and doing it anyway. Chicago punks with the most recent drivers, SIRS is headquartered in the 1911 Chicago building where the note "A" was born (no, really) and that's a fine place to start. Again.Warmowski and Haizman play the noises and Kreb tells the stories. Warmowski has been up to this kind of folly for a while, founding Chicago bands The San Andreas Fault, Buzzmuscle and The Defoliants, in reverse order of antiquity. Haizman was just a twinkle in a Taiwanese assembly line worker's eye this time last year. Kreb sang for the Defoliants and hardcore bands back in "the day" until he got "a job".SIRS is a joint venture destined to take the advice and hear the decree of Gerald V. Casale: The future's gonna be maintenance-free.Get on board with the winning team. Say yes to SIRS.
