BO DIDDLEY 1928-2008 (A TRUE ORIGINAL)

About Me

After a eight-year hiatus I decided to return to playing again. Instead of being a total sideman, I decided to step it up this time...
Currently, the band comprises myself on every instrument; I play what I want, and when. I am in total agreement, and all band votes are based on unanimous decisions.
Back in the day, you could have found me in one of these bands: Seismic Waves , The Measure, Zebratones, 007, Theory on Blondes, Incubators, Booty Froot, D-Settlement, Buttafly, Chill'd Martinis, Legendary Upper Cuts, and Tranquility Bass. I also did a four-year stint as one of the hosts of WNUR'S long-running punk radio show, FAST N LOUD. Currently, I did studio work with Madison Wisconsin's Ka-Boom!Box, and have a guitar appearance on an EV Productions' Copperpot release.
My motto is to remind people I ain't dead, yet.
THE COPPERPOT RELEASE IS IN STORES. His follow-up CD, WYLA, was released in August, 2007. It was nothing but an honor and a privilege to contribute, hell, even to be asked by a longtime friend, and sometime bandmate, Matt Lux to drop some funky guitar lines on their tracks.
Not everything I played made it to the CD, but the three tracks I appear on are in support/collaberation with the legendary MC, KRS-ONE, along with Masta Ace and EdoG.
I, performing under my real name (HA HA) am the feature musician on the opening track on WYLA, and whether that is luck, skill, or pure coincidence, it makes me feel proud that I still got it.
You can hear the songs by going to COPPERPOT 's space (See my top friends), and listen to me on the following songs on his SNOCAP player:
Art of Rap (behind Masta Ase & EdOG),
Dem Know, and Come Back Home (behind KRS-ONE).
Until later,
ar.
