First and foremost, the purpose of this site is to give artists of every variation the opportunity to extend their network and discovery, not just of one another, but of those who revel in such works but are non-artists themselves. I firmly believe that there is a whole world, untouched and undiscovered by many, that has a great deal to offer outside the realm of the normal, everday corporate world. Much raw and uninhibited talent lies outside of the confines of business and politics, which dictate and stifle creativity to allow them to cram it into mainstream reality.My purpose it to expose great literary prowess, fine artistic ability and muscial genious that has yet to be read, seen or heard by the majority because these artists refuse to sell out to conform to the likes of the larger simply for profit.While I believe all artists appreciate a certain amount of critism, none will be accepted here. This site is here to promote and allow individuals to learn, see and experience new things. Each is entitled to his or her own opinion, but ultimately it is just that. Anyone attempting to accomplish a life goal or dream deserves to be lifted up and encouraged. Okay, okay, this does not fall under Heroes, but I can't change the label, so all other artistic talent falls here until I have to break it down further. THE LAST WEEK OF EACH MONTH I am shooting for reviewing a book. Hopefully I can get through more than one book a month, but contrary to what anyone may think, I do have a life that tends to get in the way of the fun stuff...all the time.
