My name is Rob and I play the guitar! My main band is a punk/country/rockabilly/surf/jazz band,The Bad Apples whom I formed a few years ago with my long time partner and a few mates. We've played at many festivals with various line-ups over the years and we have an album due to be released soon.(myspace.com/thebadapplescowpunkabilly)I have also been writing all the songs for the band (that aren't covers!), recording and producing them and I also do the artwork.D.I.Y. = Punk as fuck!I've played in many bands of varying styles over the years, but most have been in a punk/rockabilly/country style but I've also made electronica, jazz and techno as well as the more experimental and avant-garde.I also write and produce music of many different styles mainly to keep myself entertained, and spend a lot of time jammin' with mates. This usually goes hand in hand with copious amounts of alcohol and illicit substances!I play a wide variety of instruments including the banjo, mandolin, double-bass, mouth organ and keyboard. I also teach the guitar and am currently doing a degree in 'Creative Music' at The East Coast Music Academy.If anyone out there wants to book the band, work on some music with me, or have a jam, , drop me a line, I'll probably be up for it!
