At eighteen, Jay packed up his old Plymouth and left his tiny town in upstate New York to work in the thriving downtown Los Angeles theater scene. The next 4 years, Jay worked as a technician, musician and performer in the once renowned Pipeline productions with his best friend Scott Kelman.
