THE DARK ROOM is " 2 hours of mostly instrumental music, from club to classical, and everything in between ... " every Saturday night/early Sunday morning from 2 – 4 am PST (California time) on Pacifica-Radio KPFK 90.7 fm Los Angeles, 98.7 fm Santa Barbara, and at www.kpfk.org
THE DARK ROOM is hosted by Belgian born DJ DELPHINUS (Delphine) who has been at Los Angeles' KPFK Pacifica-Radio since 2002. First, as part of four rotating DJs, hosting IN THE MIX, still periodically sitting in for GLOBAL VILLAGE's Yarika Sha-Rais, COSMIC BARRIO's Derek Rath, MOOD II SWING's Steve Martin & THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS' Barry Smolin; she is now the host/producer of THE DARK ROOM (since 2003). As of April 2007, the show slightly changed its format: the show is still 2 hours of mostly instrumental music from club to classical, and everything in between, but more flexible in terms of style & flow ... Join us for 2 hours of the unexpected …

NOTE: Because my time is very limited, I will not download anything, so, if you feel your music is appropriate for THE DARK ROOM (because you checked the playlist, of course, and you feel your music is a right fit), please send me a CD (preferred) and/or vinyl. I listen to everything! However, please do NOT send me Hip Hop (unless it is instrumental), Rock, Punk, Smooth Jazz ... PLEASE read the types of music I like to play on the show (see on the left) BEFORE you send it to me.
