About Me

I am basically a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy. I learned a long time ago that I suck at trying to be something I'm not. I try to always be kind, generous, honest and caring, but I do have a temper I inherited from my Mom, so pissing me off may not be in your best interest. Fortunately, I rarely lose it. If there is something you want to know about me, just ask. If you're not really interested, you probably aren't really my friend and I don't have time to play games. I am fortunate to have made a number of solid, true-blue friends over the years, some I have known through thick and thin for over 30 years! You might be my next good friend! Thanks for visiting my page. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ~Mark Twain ..."You gotta chase your dream" -~Billy Joe Huels

Movies:

We never go to the theater, preferring to wait until it's available for rent. I don't watch many, but i did like "Pay It Forward", "The Green Mile", "The Rookie", "Beyond The Sea", and some of the great classic films like "East Of Eden", "North By Northwest", "The Birds", and of course all the cheesy Elvis movies!shoe leather

Television:

Reality TV sucks. Most TV sucks. That's reality. I do enjoy Two And A Half Men, CSI, Cold Case, some cooking shows on The Food Network,The Seattle Mariner's games, and some NFL foodball, Bears and Seahawks mostly.

Books:

Yeah, right. I don't read fiction. I read to gain information. I have a bookcase full of cookbooks though, and I get inspired to create when I read them!

Heroes:

If I ever grow up, I want to be just like me, except without the heath problems.
