howdy! you may know me as rob aka robs chop shop, or not.. and yeah i'm a little slow on getting on my space, but here "tis! i'm from galveston tx.. been in dallas since 1986.. I started ROBS CHOP SHOP in 1995 following my grandfathers foot steps.. i guess all the world famous robs stardom started when i was on the cover of continental restyling zine.. ive done every rockabilly show in the world nearly, finland, germany, england all over europe!!! the big ones, but fer da ones that know me and rockabilly scene already know that,.. but with that being said, im not da one to to blow smoke up my own ass, i'm just stating da facts.. hey i will never say i invented barbering, but i have taken it to another level, ive done more hair cuts, in more countries, than any other barber in the world,x10, so ive earned it. there are alot of other barbers out there, using the Chop Shop name, and even ones that are franchising "rock-n- roll" barbershops, I feel lucky to be one of the starters of this "craze" but at the end of the day I truly love what I do and I just hope that end of the day that I have effected sombodys life in a positive, just by spending 20 minutes in my chair. And nothing amazes me more than seeing my logo on the t-shirt of a guy or girl in another country that supports my shop and my greaseee!!!!! Thanks to everyone out there for all the years of support and kind words over the past eleven years. (real greasers use grease) It's only bragging if you can't back it up !!!! and I won't even get into being in the coolest car club in the world (Rumblers) or my bad ass 49 Ford Coupe or my great looks and killer personality, and being banned in every buffet in Dallas County. yeeeehaaaa!!!!!!
