About Me

Blackpool punk band The Pose changed their name to Tunnelvision in 1979. They played around 24 gigs in total with amongst others New Order ,Section 25, Stockholm Monsters etc and released the so called 'techno ballad' single Watching the Hydroplanes' on the legendary Factory Records. Disbanded in 1982.In 1991 The single appeared in the box set 'Palatine' and in 1997 LTM Records released the retrospective 'Guessing the Way' album. In 2003 the band reformed after obtaining a master tape of remixes by Pete Hook (including the proposed second single' The Man Who Would Be King'). In April 2005 a 3 track single was released featuring the new tracks 'Anyday',Stones and Where Was I, followed by another retrospective from LTM Records 'Watching the Hydroplanes'. Plans for playing live never got off the ground and in late 2005 Ian decided to leave to join Section 25. Chris and Tony are now known as 4M, therefore it is unlikely that there will be any new Tunnelvision material. Thanks to everyone that has shown an interest in the band past and present. You can buyTunnelvision cd's from LTM Publishing , Darla in the USA, Newelectric Records on Ebay or selected outlets. You can also download the 3 track single 'Anyday' and the LTM album 'Watching the Hydroplanes' from I tunes .br
