"Rush/Judas Priest Tribute": Nita w/Final Notice
"Broken" - Nita w/Cycle Of Pain
"Strange" - Nita w/Krewl
"Never Leave You" - Nita w/Krewl
My musician buds call me "Neets" or "Nita Neets," nickname given to me by my long time drummer long ago. Ever since I can remember, music was part of my life. I joined my first rock band at 16. I've fronted several original rock bands from L.A. and O.C. and have been fortunate to play with some awesome musicians who have been in legendary bands, or played with members of famous bands.
Though we wrote most of our songs, my favorite style of singing is high energy rock, so I post the first song (a medley) as a tribute to Rush and Judas Priest, which we did when I fronted FINAL NOTICE for seven-years.
Later, back in FINAL NOTICE, we created a buzz, so we were offered a recording contract by an indie label with gold records on their roster. Though we turned it down for a well known producer who worked at RCA for 16-years, Ed Dejoy, who also worked with mogul producer, Clive Davis (American Idol). They thought our original song "Fantasy Lover" was a hit. But it all came tumbling down due to an unfortunate accident and back surgery, due to my years in recovery.
Back then, is when I first met my buddy, "Krewl" Dave and started writing for the producers. We write off and on... and wrote "Strange" and "Never Leave You" (and others), which were then engineered by Christoper Wade Damerst (2003 Grammy Winner, Pink, Talia, Robin Williams, & more). "Krewl" Dave and I wrote some more songs in 2004 and are currently working on new material. He writes the music, I write the lyrics and melodies.
