About me... Alex Ingram, Musician, Songwriter, Producer...While attending Strawberry Mansion Junior High School, Mr. Gabriel S. Hardeman Jr. The director of the Gospel Ensemble began to nurture Alex’s God's given talent as a musician and songwriter. Alex became the original organist, then later Musical Director for the Grammy Nominated Gabriel Hardman Delegation. While attending Overbrook High School he played for the Overbrook Gospel Singers and the Overbrook Jazz Band. Alex graduated from Overbrook High School, then attended Community College of Philadelphia.
In 1980, Alex became a member of Fellowship Tabernacle Church in Philadelphia, Pa under the leadership of Bishop Robert M Taylor, Sr where he served as the Minister of Music. In 1999, Alex along with his wife Robin and daughter Alysha joined Zion Baptist Church in Ambler, PA under the leadership of Rev. Gerald L. Chapman, Sr where he serves as Assistant Minister of Music. On September 22, 2001, Alex produced the first live recording of the Zion Tabernacle Choir featuring guest soloist Bishop Bruce V. Parham. In 2003, Alex and family joined the Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Philadelphia, PA under the leadership of Rev. Glen Spaulding, Senior Pastor. where he currently serves as the Minister of Music.
Alex has recorded and/or written songs for some of Gospel’s finest, such as: The Gabriel Hardman Delegation; Rev. Johnny Thompson & The F.B.H. Pennsylvania State Choir, Bishop Andrew and Steven Ford & The Highway Church of Christ Mass Choir, Rev. James Cleveland & The Philadelphia Mass Choir of the GMWA; The Brockington Ensemble, The Savettes, The Victory Choral Ensemble, Rev. Anne Darby Hinton, Rev. Eric O. Shipman, Bishop Bruce V. Parham, Evang. Darnita Hassell, Rev Ernest Davis Jr’s Wilmington-Chester Mass Choir, The Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar, The Tri-State Mass Choir, Pastor John P. Kee with the Victory in Praise Music and Arts Seminar and Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House Mass Choir. In 2004, Alex Ingram produced the CD entitled “His Mercy Endureth Forever.” for 4UIPLAY PRODUCTIONS
