I'm REAL,DOWN to EARTH and, I love to have fun. In my child hood life at the tender age of 6, I watch my mother sing. I was truly amazed with her vocal range. She could sing so high "WOW", she blew me away! I was impressed and then I started doing it! as I got older I thought I was going to just model and play the piano. Instead I modeled for 5 years straight went to John Casablanca's and, Barbazon Modeling school and, the next 15 years I Did many show's from New York to Philadelphia. Performed with top professional's and rip the runway. I designed and made my own cloths while in school. At the same time I played the Flute and Clarinet, I found myself seeking to sing more than anything else So, from that I've been performing since the age of 12. When people would here me they would say "My God", you have all that in that little body, where do it come from!(well it aint as little no more,I'm all grown up! LOL ). Today they still say that along with Your so gifted and anointed, that I sing like an angel or song bird. I give all praises to God! It's for him to be exhalted not me. I just thank God he felt fit to use me as a vessel for him. In my singing at a young age I had the pleasure of meeting recording group "The Porter Family Singers". Darlene Porter took me under her wing and I never looked back nor never wanted anything else! Just to name a few I worked and performed with recording artist Dorothy Norwood, The Willaims Brother's, Keith Pringle & the Penticostal Community Chior, Edna Tatum, L.A. Mass Chior, L.A.Opera, Norman Hutchins, Judith McAllister, Tiffany Lang known as "Makeda", Siedah Garrett( one of the Composer's for dream girls soundtrack),Talaya Triqueros(from 94.7 the wave), Brenda Strong(Seinfeld), Ken Stacey(work with Lionel Ritche.., Michael Mc Donald), Michelle Green(L.A. Law), WDAS Mass Choir, Philadelphia Mass Choir, The Millennium Choir(Director beppe Cantarelli based out of L.A. He composed for Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson,and Mariah Carey and more),Bruce Parham, Wilmington Chester mass, Rapture, Andre and sandra Crouch, to name a few . Music has always been apart of my life and in that the doors of acting came to play. To name a few I perform thru out the East Coast with G and A Production's. I was picked up by Don B. Welch in 1993 & performed as an actress/Singer in Hallelujah Mahalia Where we toured thru out the east and west coast. Let The Church Roll On, Take It To The Lord Or Else, Heaven Bound, and 1st Lady Of Zion. In my singing and acting career I have had the pleasure of working with many talented people, Celebes,and gospel artist to name a few, Dawn Lewis(A Different World, Dream Girls),Marla Gibbs(The Jeffersons),Ernest Harden Jr.(The Jefferson’s)Alexander Hamilton (conducted and/or arranged for Mahalia Jackson, Lola Falana, Gladys Knight & The Pips ,Aretha Franklin and more),Casey Davis(Meet the Payne’s, Woman thou art loose). Fred Thomas (Co-Producer of Hallelujah Mahalia, 'Whassup' Budweiser commercial and more), Jan Davis (Futel),Karrie Bonoit (perform's with smokie robertson),Zoe (recording christian rapper),Larry Dunn(earth wind & fire). In some of my travel I had the pleasure of performing in prestgious places such as the Merriam Theater,Afro-American Historical & Culutral Museum, The Philadelphia Ethical Society, The Mann Music Theater, The Hollywood Park, Wilshire Ebell, the Sala Nervi Auditorium,and the Vatican On Christmas Day 1999 the Millennium Choir, as the official choir in the Vatican within the worldwide telecast on RAI UNO called "APRITE LE PORTE A CRISTO(OPEN THE DOORS TO CHRIST),"(see video: go to beppe cantarelli, click link Magnificat, and read bio where you see 'see video' click it watch short version if you can understand Italian then see long version) premiered a new MAGNIFICAT composed by its founder and music director BEPPE CANTARELLI while Pope John Paul II was opening the Holy Doors to the entire world during the celebrations of the Great Jubilee for the New Millennium. With the European Union Youth Orchestra under the conducting of Vladimir Ashkenazy & Beppe Cantarelli. By the way they named me Stephanie Thompson for my credits, LOL. I love what I do and, I seek to fulfill my dreams and be open to greater avenue's of life. In 1996 I recieved my license to preach the word of God, So with that I take it and apply it with my music to reach a lost, dieing world. Someone somewhere wants to hear the word of God thru word and song. So I pray that someone's life will be changed and set free and/or delivered thru what ever it is they go thru. I'm working on my solo CD entitled "VICTORY" so look for it soon on myspace. To God be the Glory!! If you have a dream reach for it and, don't stop reaching. It may not come 2 day or 2 mar, but one day it will come. So, my brotha and my sistah reach as far as you can and, never stop reaching. For the sky is the limit! for we all are reaching for that same star! This is my life and yes, this is me!
