Brian D. Edwards was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. This five-fold prophetic ministry gift was first introduced when he was 12 years old. After much word and prayer, Brian Edwards began to preach at the age of 15. By the time Brian was eighteen he had traveled extensively to various cities. His fathering in the ministry came from the late Dr. Benjamin Smith, Sr. pastor of Deliverance Evangelistic Church. He is currently being mentored by Dr. Mike Murdock of The Wisdom Center in Ft. Worth, TX.
Brian began to evangelize without limitation across the U. S. With a promise of dedication in ministry, he went on a consecration in August of l989. It was at that time the Lord quickened him to the Pastoral call. The church entitled Congregation Church of Deliverance began November 3, 1991.
In September of l992, Elder Brian Edwards at that time met Bishop Herbert L. Bright of Faith Tabernacle Church in Roselle, NJ. With this acquaintance and further fathering in the ministry, In August l993, Elder Edwards was introduced to the position of Auxiliary Bishop for the Faith Tabernacle Outreach Ministries (FTOM). In the year of 1994 he then birthed his second church (Victory Family Worship Center). In August 1998, Bishop Edwards relocated to St. Louis, MO where he pastored the Greater Mt. Apostle Edwards has authored several books and is currently working on a major release entitled, “I Almost Shut My Mouthâ€, which will be in stores in early 2008. He is a much sought after conference speaker, whose travels have taken him as far as the British and Virgin Islands, Trinidad and coast to coast in the US.
Apostle Edwards is a visionary and an apostolic ministry gift whose heartbeat is to bring the believers into a lifestyle of true worship. Wherever travels take him, he is used mightily of God to ignite the fires of revival and to plant the seeds of reformation. He possesses an anointing for the new millennium and he is committed to planting and pioneering local churches throughout the world.
