Marco Blanco has been traveling through Spain from the early days of '68 when there where only a few highways and Clint Eastwood was shooting his western-movies in the hot dessert of Almeria.The proud and friendly people of Iberica and their rich musical culture has been a big influence on the compositions and guitarplaying of Marco with his journey's to Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Cordoba and Málaga.The mystery caves of Guadix on the North-side of the Sierra with a connection to Granada's Sacramonte(Holy Mountain) pueblo of the Gypsy community and thousands of beautiful caves with fresh patio's filled with pots and flowers and little children in flamenca-dresses singing ,dansing and clapping(Palmas) around the Barrio in front of the Alhambra with the white snowtops of the Sierra Nevada in de distance........This looks like a dream ;Sueños Españoles ! And in the little streets of Granada you will find the best builders of the Guitarra Española next to a fine tapa-bar where you can drink a good glas of wine with a tasteful little tapa.This my space is a little homage to this beautiful Pais!.......................................................
