Nicorette

After the debut of Eternal Première (Zona Musica ZM00128) in 2004, sounding near to Electronic Pop, with songs plain of intimacy as “Nana”, “Missing Daisy”, "Windtalker" or “L’Afrique” and “Eyewitness” that make us to exotic landscapes, and after several shows including the Point Ephémère in Paris this summer, Nicorette are at this moment preparing their next album Hand Luggage. Between chaos and equilibrium Eternal Premiére was born, recorded with a Pentium I PC and a Chinese store microphone. There after the creative process began to be more like a live show to a radio, spontaneous and free, where every improvisation was immediately recorded to the computer. Coldfinger’s Miguel Cardona that recently brought up LisbonCityRecords, made the challenge to come out with an album. Born in 2004, originally as a duet by the hands of Sílvio Rosado and Carla Lickfold, Nicorette present themselves before a live audience as a quintet, with three new elements (Bruno Lobato, Gonçalo Kotowicz, and Tiago Angelino) bringing new organics and consistence to the until now mainly electronic music.
