Tiago Angelino (Drums)
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1975. He studied at the Hot Clubs music school between 1995 and 1997. That same year, in July, he didnt miss the opportunity of doing a workshop conducted by the famous Bostons Berklee College of Music, called "Umbria Jazz Clinics 1997", which took place in Italy.
In September 1998 he moves to New York to study closely with some of the best contemporary musicians: Kenny Washington, Billy Kilson, Ralph Peterson Jr., Rodney Green and John Riley. During his stay in N.Y. he participated in several jam sessions in clubs like Blue Note, Small's and Cleopatra's Needle. Among others he played with Steve Marcus (Buddy Rich big band), Brian Trainor, Jesse Chandler, Nuno Ferreira, Nelson Cascais, Christian Brewer, António Cabrita, Phil Donkin, Quentin Collins, Duncan Mackay, Pedro Gonçalves, Afonso Pais, Bruno Santos, Rui Caetano, Nana Sousa Dias, Ana Paula Oliveira and Vasco Agostinho.
He played in festivals around the world such as Belgium, France, UK, USA, China, Spain and Portugal.
