About Me

As you've probably guessed by the photo, I love to play drums. I'm in a band called Fuckerpunch. Please feel free to visit our MySpace page. I've been playing since I was 17 and have never loved it as much as I do now! If there are any drummers out there I would love to make contact. I live in a small town just outside Wrexham with my wife (Tracey) and son (Osian). Tracey and I got married in Memphis, Tennessee during an amazing 3 week holiday around America back in 2001. Also took the chance to visit our friends, Angie and J. while we were in Kansas City. THIS IS A FRIENDS AND DRUMMERS PAGE, I WON'T ACCEPT FRIEND REQUESTS OFF BANDS! IF YOU WANT ME TO ADD YOUR BAND THEN PLEASE HEAD OVER TO THE FUCKERPUNCH PAGE. CHEERS.

My Interests

Firstly, my family... they are the ones that hold my life together. My super gorgeous wife and biggest fan... This is my wife and my amazing son on a day at the beach... Playing drums... keeps me sane when the pressure builds. This is my kit, customised by my own hands... My band... Great guys and GREAT music... check out FUCKERPUNCH. From top left clockwise is Rico, Chunk, Dr Maiden and Grunt. Meet the ladies of Punch. From left to right... Lizzie (Mrs Chunk), Trace (Mrs Grunt), Jayne (Mrs Maiden) and Barbara (Mrs Rico). The chip off the old block, my son (4 years old) shredding like the old man! I couldn't leave this bit without a quick pic of me palying... Here's a pic done by the great Oli... My 3D buddy... OK, check out my band here...

I'd like to meet:

I have the perfect woman and a great group of friends... who else is there to meet?Any non-pretentious drummers. Playing drums is not a competition, it's not about who's the fastest or who's the most technical, it's about having fun. The moment you lose that you might as well give up.

Music:

As long as it has energy then I love it!!! Metal is my first love.

Movies:

The usual suspects ... Sixth sense ... SE7EN ... The fifth element ... The Bourne identity ... The Bourne supremecy ... When Harry met Sally ... The three amigos ... Planes, trains and automobiles ... Uncle Buck ... Clint's westerns ... Ace Ventura, pet detective ... The national lampoons European vacation ... The national lampoons Christmas vacation ... Fletch ... Fletch lives ... Scrooged ... The life of Brian ... The butterfly effect ... The Jacket ... 21 grams ... The list goes on and on. Oh, and Gone in 60 seconds just for this car... Anything at all to with the mighty Clint Eastwood... My two favourite actresses just for the performances alone are Jodie Foster and Emma Thompson And my favourite actress for, ahem, "other" reasons is Angelina Jolie

Television:

For me it would have to be comedy... I like most American sitcoms including King of Queens ... The five Mrs Bucanans ... Seinfeld ... Just shoot me ... Cheers ... Frasier ... Becker, etc. British comedies are the best though, with The office ... Nighty night ... Phoenix nights ... One foot in the grave ... Fawlty Towers ... Monty Python ... Time gentlemen, please ... The vicar of Dibley ... and so on.

Books:

I love the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. His mind is definately on another planet...

Heroes:

My wife ... She has been through a lot and still comes out the other side with a smile on her face. My drummer heroes include these guys, in no particular order... Vinnie Paul Mike Bordin Matt McDonough Jason Bowld Charlie Benante Danny Carey Dave Lombardo Mike Portnoy Nick Menza Nicko McBrain Stewart Copeland Travis Barker Vinnie Appice And then there's these...
