About Me

I'm one of a dying breed....married to the same man for over 30 years! Now approaching a certain age, at the mercy of me hormones and fighting middle-age spread and brain-fug. Mother to two marvellous girls, Rachel and Shelley, who are my gigging companions. I have a tendency to collect dogs....I have four at the moment, all real characters (one young German Shepherd, daft as a brush; one deaf old fart of a collie cross; one furball border collie with a broom fetish). The latest addition is a border collie pup called Willow, so once I have her trained I can return to agility and obedience competitions, which were a big part of my life for many years, and provided me with another hobby besides going to gigs!

My dogs! Roman history, diverse scientific interests from astronomy to zoology, complementary medicine, music, reading (almost anything), pottering in my greenhouse.....
