Body: Peppermint Creams

+ 450g/1lb icing sugar
+ 1 teaspoon peppermint essence
+ 50g/2oz melted butter
+ 2 tablespoons lukewarm water
+ extra sifted icing sugar
+ optional food colouring

sift icing sugar into mixing bowl

combine butter with milk & peppermint (& colouring), & gradually stir into icing sugar
mix well & turn out onto a board dusted with icing sugar
knead until smooth & workable
roll into even balls, approx~ 40
leave int the cool until firm & dust with icing sugar
