About Me

Hi.
My name is Jonathan Michael Gallivan and I'm an artist // musician ... I love to explore the visual and cinematic qualities of music ... sonic landscapes that create motion pictures behind the eyes.
I'm currently performing, writing and recording with a fantastic singer/songwriter by the name of David Usher. I've recorded on some of his past albums as well: "Little Songs", "Hallucinations" and "If God Had Curves". I've just finished recording, engineering and co-producing his new record, "Wake Up And Say Goodbye", which will be released September 9th, 2008. You can check out the single, "Kill The Lights", now on David's MySpace !
Another artist I'm performing with is The Clear
. You will hear my guitars on that upcoming recording too.
Other artists I've worked with include The Crystal Method as well as my own band, My Brilliant Beast . We still have the rest of our lives to record our first album ... or, so they say.
I also design, develop and program websites. Recent sites I've built include: Kharma.ca , DrowningGirl.com , JimmyRankin.com and TaraSlone.com
