GOOD LOVIN!
beauty, dance, death, sensuality, waterfalls, and lush nature.
anyone who dares to face the things that they are afraid of. not warriors in the hall who talk of brave deeds, but those who dance those deeds with fire in their toes. anyone who can stand still while Death cleaves them in two...knowing it is another step in the journey. dreamers, lovers, revolutionaries. people who know they are special despite what the mediocre try to tell them. people who don't think they're special but just do what their heart and soul requires of them. people who have a sparkle in their eye, even though we live in a new dark age. people who dare to love. dare to live. people who carry the old songs up to the sun. people who think these things are cliché. or that they just happen in movies. you know who you are.
people who enjoy the richness and variety woven through the tapestry of our lives. people who know that their soul is intricately connected to the soul of the world. people who honor the WISDOM of the traditions and cultures of the whole world. people who have not been brainwashed by colonial propaganda that seeks superiority and runs from death and change. people who do not seek to "better" themselves from the oppression of others. people who do not believe that evolution happens through "survival of the fittest." people who feel that there is a rhythm and beauty to the unfolding of the story of earth. people who see that nature abhors monoculture and believe in her wisdom. people who take responsibility for their own mess! people who take pride in their deeds NOT the color of their skin! people who dream in color! people who have not let their spirituality flatten into rigid fundamentalism. people who aren't looking for answers but instead are seeking the mystery!
i could never list all of the music i like, these are the ones who have altered my consciousness. the very first album i remember having an obsession with was Pink Floyd - the Wall when i was 4, then i moved quickly into ABBA. I do not much care for hero worship, as I feel that most brave deeds go unsung, and most people who I admire are just doing what their heart commands, and often have no choice but to be what they are. But here are people that I hold in high esteem: Frida Kahlo, Anais Nin, William Morris, Alphonse Mucha, Karl Blossfeldt, Rumi, Isadora Duncan, Boadicea, Emma Goldman, Juliette Levy, Martin Luther King, Crazyhorse, oh, and Laibach's drummer girls, if you've seen them in action you know what I mean.
