A Dream of Descent formed from the ashes of Ottawa area band "Gun Metal Grey" (www.myspace.com/gunmetalgreytheband). After playing their first show at a battle of the bands and winning first place, they set out earning a reputation as a talented live band putting on high energy shows with memorable material. So far the public has embraced their sound and repayed their performances with wanton displays of mutually assured destruction. Inspired by 80’s thrash legends such as Megadeth, Metallica and Testament, A Dream of Descent combines heavy riffs and searing solo’s with crowd friendly hooks and vocals you can actually sing along to.
