1989- DOWN SYNDROME was formed by Hassan ( guitar ) , Fadil( guitar ) , Medan ( bass ) , Adyll (drums) and Rosli ( vocals ). They were one of the earliest punk / skinhead band then.
Early 1990 - Hassan ( guitar ) left the band to form FLOW & presently the bass player for BUSHMEN. Fadil ( guitar ) and Rosli ( vocals ) quit the band.
Late 1990 - 4-SIDES was born . Remaining members of DOWN SYNDROME , Adyll ( drums ) and Medan ( bass ) were joined by Hussein ( vocals ) & Adyll's brother Suhaimi ( guitars ) from asia's pioneer hardcore band STOMPIN GROUND took 4-SIDES to another level.
Late 1992 - Medan ( bass ) left the band to start a gothic influenced band and was replaced by Ah Boon who originally was from SILENT SORROW ( one of singapore's first & tightest Trash Metal outfit at that time) & RECTIFY/RETRIBUTION
1994- Hussein ( vocals ) left the band and was replaced temporarily by Ezar from VOICEOUT/RECOVER . 4-SIDES eventually recruited Imran "Mammoth" from Shaolin , Paranorm & Bleeding Gums to take over vocal duties from Ezar. This current lineup remains unchanged till this present day.

Presently...
we are playing a few gigs here & there if time permits..as most of us are playing with other bands one way or another. Hoping to record a new EP or an Album by early next year....got lots of new songs which some were even written way back in 1998 ( though DEFINITION was released in 1999...it was recorded late 1997 )...its actually good in a way as it gives us more time to improvise some of the old stuff. Hope to see you guys in our upcoming shows...cheers.
