Established with the primary objectives of bringing a sense of awareness and togetherness of the hardcore scene, Reconstrux Records consolidated itself with the pioneering Lioncity Hardcore compilation, Together At Last in 1992.Featuring bands such as STOMPIN GROUND, UNITED BLOOD, ENRAGE, VOICEOUT, RECTIFY, SOULFIRE, UPRIGHT, BAWLOUT, UNITED BLOOD, INTENSE DECIBEL & 4-SIDES.

ABOUT BOUND BY HONOUR D.I.Y EVENTS -
- After years of internal conflicts and negative factional divisions within the hardcore scene itself,the need to re-inject a renewed sense of awareness,a call to arms of sorts that will in time eradicate the seemingly plaguing rut of destructive elitist mentality and detrimental bad mouthing has never been greater.
-To put into play, not just mere words but good ol' fashion positive actions that would remind ourselves of what the essence of HARDCORE is all about in the first place.Why we got into it then, why we are still here today, the impact that it has on our respective lives and how HARDCORE has transcended beyond just another musical genre.
With this in mind, Jai of Overthrown, Suhami & Imran Of Stompin Ground/4Sides & Rashid Of the band Bound By Honour coincidentally the name that was adopted as the monicker for this particular platform that would once again showcase the true values of HARDCORE in all its ever relevant aspects was conceptualised.In alignment with and armed with the same basic fundamental objectives as that of Reconstrux's, Bound By Honour DIY Events seeks to bring together a scene which has seen its fair share of uncalled for divisions and needless segregations.To bring both the old and new together not just bands but anyone and everyone who constitutes the scene, past, present and most certainly the future.With already 2 well received gigs under its belt, BBHDIY Events are looking to more avenues and means of spreading the honest to goodness values of positive and open psychological perceptivity not just in musical form but in its total entirety.
