REALIZE was formed in early 1998. We were teenagers at that point of time and there was nothing much to do except squeezing our brains out on books to fit this ever growing society of ours. The only way out of the system was expressing it thru music. It was a dream of 3 teens who are the roots of Realize to be performing on stage or any small part time gigs. Watching favourite bands performing week-in, week-out makes us wanting to be on stage with them. Realize started only with 3 key members and they are Hafiz(Bass), Hellme(Drums) and Supi(Guitars). We had different opinions towards the genre of music we listen to. Supi and Hellme was more into black metal and heavy stuff but Hafiz on the other side was into old skool hardcore. We would colaborate with other friends and bands members to form a 7 men band; UNDER THE MAIN SULTAN(UTMS) and SNAPPING TOOTH PICK(STP), and performed in schools and small gigs. It was a stepping stone for us but over a period of time, we realize that both bands were just temporarily as friends had to leave and concentrate on individual stuffs. So we were on a hunt for a vocalist. A year past, riffs and tabs were piling and yet no vox would really suit the style of sound we play. We had try outs and inventually Zamin came into the picture. He was playing bass/guitar for PYRO and was no stranger to the local scene here. He was part of One Voice Crew and basically he was one of the reasons that we had our first breakthrough to be invited to feature in the ONE VOICE COMPILATION 2 (Strength Through Unity). Realize contributed 2 songs; Checkmate and Flag of Unity. Everything went smooth sailing from then on. We decided to add a 4th member to the band and basically we strongly needed a second guitarist. Zawani joined us in mid 2000 and contributed a few songs. Sadly, He had to leave the band as to reconcile differences in mid 2001. It left an impact on us.
In late 2003 Dean was introduced and invited to play as our 2nd guitars and till now he is still alive and rocking.......
Somewhere early last year...our long time bassist decided to quit the band and we respected that.....even though he is not playing anymore he is still our old time friend and still hanging out with us.....there is when Farhan a.k.a Bart was invited to play with us.......so thats the current line up.....
