i have a crazy side too ya know !

About Me

Who is David (Slippery Rock)? That is a question many will be asking for a long time I guess. In many way ways I am finding myself again and in many ways I am finding new things also. I have played music all of my life and its a part of the fiber that makes me who I am. Many years ago I left my first love of instruments the guitar for other needs in the bands I played in. Don't get me wrong I love playing the mando ,banjo, bass etc. but the guitar (The Blonde ) has always been what I loved playing the most. Just recently I found a great friend Val ( The Profunda) and began not only a great friendship but a musical journey that has got me in touch with my inner voice again by her writing. It has taken some time but I think the vocals are well on their way back and the Blonde and I have reconnected again. This "Journey" I'm sure will take me in many directions before I am done. Bluegrass will always be what I want to play but the other styles must have their place also. I hope you will join me on this journey as I find my place in this musical world. I would love to have you along for the ride. Expect changes from about everything done in the past for nothing is ever finished till its finished. All I really want to do is good recordings and share the music that lives in me. I am....Slippery Rock.... I said once That Less is more and more can be great. I am but a small voice in a big loud world but I am unique. If you listen close enough you might hear the inner voice inside me. {:o) Peace and Love David
