SIDEWINDER are a 4-piece
ROCK BAND from North/West Yorkshire. Brothers Nick and Chris Robinson formed the band back in 2004 as a rock cover band under the guise of Make like Audio. Lee Kitson, a school friend of Nicks, joined shortly afterwards giving dual guitar harmonies and awesome shared solos. They covered classics from the likes of: AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Thin Lizzy, Queen, Iron Maiden, Metallica and the list goes on. A new line-up and a new name saw Sidewinder transform into an original rock bandwriting and performing at every opportunity taking influence from the bands they cover. Just recently they have been signed up to FK Music Management based in York, be sure to checkout their myspace profile found in our top friends. And with the new year dawning, we welcome our new bass player Paul Burton aka "Dirty Berty", A wild old school rocker hooked upon AC/DC and Motley Crue, who looks forward to his time ahead with the band.
The band has performed around the whole of the UK over the last year; they had a successful UK tour during July 07 and got main support in Leeds for the legendary Blaze Bayley Nov 07
