Mad Hatter Studios was originally established by Chick Corea in 1980, named after his 1978 hit album "The Mad Hatter". Since opening it’s doors, this studio has become a favorite of many top recording artists from both yesterday and today. This includes recording artists from Paul McCartney to Beck and Blink 182 to Michael Jackson. Mad Hatter Studios is known for it’s beautiful record room sound and classic Steinway Model D piano (hand picked by Chick Corea) and in 2003 after being purchased by Golden Era Productions, the audio-visual arm of the Church of Scientology, underwent renovations to refit and refurbish from the top down. So now, while standing more beautiful than ever, Mad Hatter Studios still maintains it’s reknown world-class sound and atmosphere while continuing to service the artists who create and form our culture.
