thanks for visiting my myspace page. i like to use this space as a sounding board for new songs and ideas, demos and stuff like that. all the music posted here was recorded at my house, hotel room, or somebody else's place with a few mics and a recording setup.
depending on who and what instruments i'm playing with, my concerts might lean towards bluegrass, pop, twangy tele-country, 12-string jangle, folksy solo acoustic stuff, nasty lead guitar work, or Irish tenor banjo. i've also been known to pick up a fiddle, and maybe play something good- maybe scare the cats. to those of you who've seen me play lately, sorry i keep wearing that same inside-out blazer. someday i'll go shopping. all my best to you, -jh.
