About Me

After nearly 10 years of silence, Reverend Beat-Man and Gringo Starr team up once again for Sonic Nightmares exclusively for the GaragePunk Podcast (garagepunk.com).
Sonic Nightmares started as a live radio show in 1995 on a listener supported radio station in Bern, Switzerland called, ‘Radio Rabe’. The show ran for 4 years and became infamous for prank phone calls, high energy Punk and Garage Rock and Roll and spontaneous skits. For the full story see our blog entry.

SONIC NIGHTMARES NUMBER 12 JULY 18TH 2008 @ garagepunk.com

Last episode's concept of Beat-Man moderating the show by telephone while in outer space has now mutated into a cheesy old time radio serial Orson-Wellsian atomic age alien invasion science fiction variety hour. But don't be fooled by all the bells and whistles (or all the echo)! This episode highlights some of the greatest Punk tracks of all time (in our opinion, of course)! Featuring cuts by The Dead Boys, Zakary Thaks, The Damned, Suicide, Pop Rivets, The Seeds, The Velvet Underground and Hasil Adkins!
