I started my worldly education in a nice little Southern Californian
town called Huntington Beach and decided, at nineteen, that Hollywood was the
place to be. After almost a decade of rock and roll decadence, I decided that a nice trip
to the Continent would be good for my constitution. 'Old Europe' greeted me
with open arms and after mastering the local dialects I decided that I would
try to make something of myself in the land of Brecht, Camus, Truffaut, Bargeld,
and Rammstein. But, I ended up in Switzerland. After a round-a-bout journey
that started in a Bow Street jail in London followed by one of the most miserable
winters of my life in Hamburg I found myself in the 'happiest place on Earth'
- not Disneyland but something remarkably similiar if not more authentic. I've spent the last decade playing and touring in bands on the Voodoo Rhythm label here in Bern (The Get Lost, Reverend Beat-Man, Lightning Beat-Man, Les Super Supers), as well as co-hosting a rock and roll radio show called Sonic Nightmares throughout the mid-nineties.
Currently playing with my new band THE JACKETS. Reverend Beat-Man and I have have brought back the 'Sonic Nightmares' radio show as a podcast available at garagepunk.com --
