I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a cognitive ability to discuss issues more important than the current style of Paris Hilton or Brittney Spear's... I am not concerned with race, gender, religion, economic class, or even political affiliation, but I would expect that people do more than puppet "media spin doctors" when they state their opinion...Other than that, all that I ask that people have fun!!

Music:

I love jazz, modern rock, alternative rock, R&B, and world music. As such, I really would like to endorse the following artists: Garbage, Coldplay, the Black-Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Jewel, Aimee Mann, Michael Buble, Chris Isaak, Depeche Mode, Kanye West, Gavin De Graw, Brian Setzer, Elvis Costello, Fiona Apple, U2, R.E.M., Norah Jones, Michelle Branch, Anggun, Vanessa Carlton, Babyface, Green Day, Jacquie Naylor, Maroon 5, ...

Movies:

My Three favorite movies of all time are Superman (1978), Casablanca (1942), and the Manchurian Candidate(1961)... If you can guess why, you are a few steps closer to guessing who I am....

Television:

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, "24", Smallville, CSI, Heroes, Lost, Iron Chef, the Sopranos, Family Guy, South Park, Globe Trekker, the Amazing Race, et. al.

Books:

If anyone should ever ask ATLAS SHRUGGED by Ayn Rand is just another self-important libertarian tract with Wagnerian ideals of self importance and a plot ripped off from THE FOUNDATION by Issac Asimov. If anyone can understand what I meant by that, then you are someone I certainly have to talk to. My favorite books of all time are HENRY V by William Shakespeare, L.A. CONFIDENTIAL by James Ellroy and The MALTESE FALCON by Dashell Hammett....
