We are a band of 5 musicians, our aim is to make music with as little pressure and as few time barriers that are possible. We try to get together as much as we can to rehearse and play. All of us coming from the jazz scene are used to having to do short notice gigs with one rehearsal only, what tends to happen(not always but most of the time), is that the music is not happening!! So we decided to get a band together to rehearse regularly, play regularly and maybe in that way make some interesting music. The genre is not set, we draw on different music or things that may inspire us, obviously the music has jazz roots, but it also has lots of other stuff in it too... Also unlike a lot jazz bands we dont have dep‘s (replacements), meaning that the 5 members of the band are the band!, and if 1 member cant make a gig we dont get someone else to replace them, we either do the gig with the remaining 4 or dont do the gig at all. Have a listen to the music and you can decide for yourself if you like it, and if you do your welcome to any gigs...
