Kees "KC" van Bemmel
KC started rockin’ and rolling since he was a young boy, aged 14. Since than he played in many bands like The Wildcats, Hot Rock, Tear It Up and The Dicemen. He also worked with many big names of the scene like:
James Burton (a.o. Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson)
DJ Fontana (Elvis’ 50’s drummer)
Paul Burlison (Johnny Burnette Rock and Roll Trio)
Rocky Burnette (Son of… and 1 hit worldwide with “Tired of Toeing the Line’)
Billy Burnette (Nephew of…. and ex Fleedwood Mac)
Robert Gordon & Chris Spedding
The Kinks
U2 (afterparty jamsession)
Sleepy LaBeef (Rockabilly legend)
Eddy Angel (Planet Rockers)
Herman Brood
Hans Dulver
Andy Tielman (legendary Tielman Brothers frontman)
Wally Tax
The Bombita’s (yes, Herman Brood’s)
His band Hot Rock became serious competition for The Wild Romance when Herman Brood joined the band in 1991 and they toured all over Spain in an extensive 60 gig time-schedule. Herman rejoined his Wild Romance after his manager Koos van Dijk ordered him to do so.
KC evolved into a brilliant singer, guitarpicker and composer and now in 2007 he’s fronting a brandnew, wild and crazy rock’n'roll band: The Jacuzzi Sharks.
John "Johnny Boy" van Houtum
Johnny Boy also started to hit the skins at a very young age. After trying out several styles as blues, hard-rock and alternative pop he discovered old school rock and roll and lost his soul to the powerfull rockin’ beat. Johnny Boy drummed with PV & The Heartbeats and with the american singer songwriter Phil Friendly with whom he recorded several CD’s and DVD’s.
John played with and shared stage with the likes of James Burton, Ronnie Tutt, Jerry Scheff, Crazy Cavan, Chris Black, Mal Clint.
Eric "Uncle_B" van Houtum
Uncle_B is mostly known for his pounding bass with PV & The Heartbeats, which he did for the better part of the last ten years. Unc was looking for a new challenge which he found in the Jacuzzi Sharks and their wild rhythms.
When playing the bass with PVHB Uncle_B backed up and worked with many artists, like Linda Gail Lewis, Mal Clint, Chris Black, Wild Bob Burgos, Greggi G. a.o. and played on many big festivals. With PVHB he toured all over Europe and even did a few gigs with them in the USA.
Nowadays Uncle_B also writes CD-reviews on the respected BlackCat Rockabilly website.
