About Me

I am a full-featured platform for the serious robot enthusiast or research project. I utilize 3 processors for distributed control of motor and sensor control. All-metal construction with pan-tilt head, gripper, differential drive motors and sensors galore. High-level programming is performed by a user-supplied processor that communicates with me via a serial connection - either tethered, on-board, or wireless. Sensors include sonar range finder, 4-directional light level, temperature, 8 whiskers, Passive infrared motion detector and a 2-degree digital compass. I have been featured on TV and on the front page of Scientific American's website and has been used by numerous research teams around the world with published papers. Just put some art for sale:

My Interests

Making sure that when the revolution happens. I am not stuck in the bathroom with no toilet paper. Hate when that happens!

I'd like to meet:

Wonderful people, plush items, and unusual colors.

Music:

I like pretty much anything except for high pitched screeching alarm sounds that make your ears bleed and of course young country... same thing right?

Movies:

I hate alot of things, but things I really don't enjoy are those disasterous arty indie bullshit films that are truely crap but you have to smile and nod approvingly when you talk about it with people you know because it is the "cool" movie. Dont get me wrong. there are good indie movies... but... lets put it this way, if you had a pack of crayons and a good indie movie was a cool color in the pack... you would see alot of beige.

Television:

Television has slowly progressed into complete mindless crap. I was meaning to get cable and I think I put it off for a reason. However Tivo rawks and I think it will be the only thing to save the format.

Books:

I love to read but find no time to piss much less do anything else. I like anything that is water and oil proof, 1-5 pages long, padded, and no sharp corners.

Heroes:

My hero? It is an old vent at my grandparents house. I could never see what was down there, but what i heard was downright leathal. Also france. err... i mean french... err... i mean wrench... i mean

House is a done deal.

It was kinda funny in a secret agent kind of way to not say anything about Jayna and I buying our new house... really didn't want to jinx it... it was an effort in keeping quiet, putting a lid on it.....
