What do the critics say?
'Down on tape, lead singer Lily Flax struts her stuff with the classic punk pout, spitting out her lyrics in the face of all the white-bread mindless and mediocre music lovers out there'
Local Aesthetic
'The Trough Lollies set the mood with their opening track, "Get Ya Cock Out", and I can't say it got all that much more sophisticated. This was pure piss-taking punk that aimed to offend, in the same vein as Frenzal Rhomb'
Impress
“Trough Lollies are meant to be pissed onâ€
Local Anesthetic
“Trough Lollies (more wit) hopefully didn't pay more than 100 quid for their recording of 'Indi Elite', it's bordering on crap but strangely appealling. Lyrically, they are to be congratulated on giving the industry types a good verbal bollocking.â€

Similarly, "Indie Elite" is a scathing tribute to the posers of the indie scene. To quote: "your arms are crossed and you don't tap your feet, you hold up a wall at the back of the crowd, I'm sorry miss is the music too loud"

“The vocals of Lilly Flax have a definite Donna's feel with the added specialty of cursing when felt necessary.â€
