Rock Out With Your Frock Out is a site dedicated to Australian chick singers and bands. Our purpose is networking and supporting like-minded bands/singers throughout Australia and the World. The music we are focusing on is Rock, Punk, Garage, Indie, New Wave, Pop-punk, Power-pop, Alternative Pop and Grunge, so if your band fits any of these genres please add us. Sometimes we take a while to get through our huge amount of friend requests so please hang in there.
Our very first showcase gig took place at The Brunswick Hotel on 29th September 2007 and featured Melbourne bands There She Goes Again and Kathematics and Bendigo bands The Red Cherries and Dirty Cosby and was very well-attended.
Our second showcase gig was at The Old Bar on 8th February 2008 and featured Melbourne bands Hey Pilot, Kathematics (two-piece), Valentine and Love Cuts Kill and was also very well-attended.
The Frock space is here to help girl-fronted bands network with each other and put on their own gigs in their respective cities as well.
Also, if there are any bands with guy singers that support this project please feel free to be our friend!
