About Me

...and then there were The Red Cherries ... goin' off like a VOLCANO (and if you look hard, you can even see the lava flow...)
Inpress Mag review of Spazzys album launch gig (Feb 2005) described The Red Cherries as:
"...a three-piece featuring two girls and a guy and they’re turning out an exhilarating brand of melodic, catchy rock music ... They’re called The Red Cherries, they look and sound like they should have been playing at CBGBs in about 1975 and they’re great..." (Tom Hawking)

In the few years since the Cherries' guitarist traded in her 12 gauge shotgun for a marshall amp, the trio have treated rock&roll punters in Bendigo & Melbourne to their boisterous shows, sharing the line-up with names like Magic Dirt, Spazzys, The Bakelite Age, Dallas Crane, Warped, The Meanies, Rocket Science, Body Jar, Dung, The Rye Catchers, Sons of the Sun...
On stage, the Cherry girls and boy love to indulge ... don't be scared when you look up and notice that they know you're there. If a tree falls in the forest and no-one's there to hear it, does it make a noise?
The Cherries' robust inventory ranges from cheeky, melodic, distorted pop to abrasive & uncompromising rockin' mantras that you can't help stompin to. (Listen to the MP3 to steal a sketchy taste of their live sound.)
THE RED CHERRIES WILL BE RETREATING INTO HIDING FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL, AND WILL RE-EMERGE AGAIN WITH A FEW RECORDED TRACKS … (finally) … STAY TUNED
