About Me

The King City Seven
In the midst of cookie-cutter bands littering the music scene at the moment, it's good to find a band that stands out amongst the crowd. Seven piece outfit The King City Seven have taken rock combined with fast-paced pop-punk, fused it with a diabolical horn section and have created a unique sound that is exciting, energetic and explosive - defining of their on (and off) stage antics. Over the last 18 months, The King City Seven have constructed their bridge into the music scene, and matured into a band that not only entertains, but enthralls.
Defining their style as 'hardcore pop' - a title most suiting - The King City Seven are definitely not your average band. Their explosive live shows combine everything we love about live music. They perfectly mould catchy choruses, intense rhythms, a vigorous horn section and awe-inspiring stage presence into a true spectacle - a manifestation that must be experienced aurally and visually.
The last two years have been hard work for the band; with non-stop live shows, song writing and the recording of their EP, The King City Seven are continually stretching their limits and creating a fresh new sound. Their hard work and dedication is beginning to pay off, as every show enlists more and more people into their ever-growing army of fans. The King City Seven will be bringing their energetic live show to a town near you and are sure to impress. "Not a blatant Less Than Jake rip-off, your drummer can play (miaow!). Still, LTJ only tour once or twice a year, so you've got the market sewn up the rest of the time. A very sound place to start."The Good Doctor, triple j 31 May, 2007 "The King City Seven is positively brimming with potential and deserves major label backing."Jager Uprising (2006) Bookings & Management
