Rock’n’roll's a bit too safe these days. FROM HELL aim to change that.
Influenced by the likes of The Powdermonkeys, The Hellacopters, The Bronx, The Ramones, Motorhead, and the mind numbing boredom of 9-5 jobs, they write catchy metallic rocknroll full of passion, energy, and soul - songs that stick in your ear long after the ringing has faded.
Their wild, high energy shows have seen microphone stands go flying, amplifiers destroyed, roofs collapsing, flesh being shredded, and punters left there standing awestruck and begging for more.
FROM HELL signed with independent record label Warthog Records and released their debut album ‘With Love’ in November 2005. Shock Records distributes the album throughout Australia and New Zealand.
'DESTRUCT TONIGHT!' is the second official release from the Melbourne four piece. The self-released EP features four blistering brand new tracks recorded by Paul Maybury (Rocket Science), exploding with hooks, soul and venom. Songs bursting with the thrill of the attack, the heat of the battle and the pain of friends left behind. These are songs that lodge themselves in your ear like shrapnel.
Also included are 3 blazing tracks recorded live-to-air on 3PBS fm. Originally released on 'With Love', these re-recordings breath life and energy into the tracks, giving an indication of the band's explosive live shows.
As an added bonus they have included 3 video clips including 2 live videos capturing the band in all their explosive glory at their 'With Love' launch in 2005, a gig that was heralded by Beat Magazine as 'a mini-landmark in Melbourne pub rock'.
