LINCOLN HIGHWAY

LINCOLN HIGHWAY - a Premier Band For All Occasions

About Me

THE BOYS IN THE BAND

GEORGE BUNGARZ - guitar and vocals-

A native Californian,  George formed a doo- wop band called

" The Viscounts" while in high school. From there he

went to folk music in Berkeley and then migrated to classic country.

He helped form "Hard Travelin" a popular Bay area group who had

been together for over 30 years. Once moving to Placer County it

was only a short time before George became an integral member of  LINCOLN

HIGHWAY.

MARSHAL KEE - keyboard, harmonica & vocals-

When the doctor slapped his cheeks, Marshal started

to sing. He began playing drums in elementary school, guitar in high

school and eventually the piano. He picked up the harmonica in the

Army. Marshal also sang in an A' Cappella choir, the Madrigals, and

traveled with a teen choir. He formed his first band at 15 and has

played all styles of music. " Life is music and music is LINCOLN

HIGHWAY".

MIKE SISEMORE - lead guitar & vocals-

Mike started playing acoustic guitar and sax at

age 14. He picked up the electric in the Air Force and has been

playing in night clubs ever since. Mike hails from Texas and is

currently playing bluegrass, blues, rock & roll, rockabilly and

country/western music. His love of music shows in his performance

with LINCOLN HIGHWAY.

DOUG WEISS - bass & vocals -

Born in West Virginia, Doug began

picking and singing with the " Lazy River Boys" in Berkley. Later

joined the "Country Cousins", then onto the " Country Way." He

toured with the "Rich Price Band" before forming his own group, "

The Sounds Country Band", a popular dance band in the East Bay.

Doug brings a strong country influence to the music of LINCOLN

HIGHWAY.

CHARLIE KEENEY - drums-

Born in Oklahoma, raised in Sutter

County, Ca. Began playing drums at age 12. First music job was

playing country/western in night clubs and dance halls from

Sacramento to the Oregon border with the " Morris Taylor Band",

also played on KHSL TV and radio in Chico with Morris during this

time. Later formed the " Rhythm Ranch Boys" working in Roseville

and Sacramento clubs. Charlie brings a solid country beat to

LINCOLN HIGHWAY.
