Too much soul to control.........

About Me

I am currently employed as a telecommunications geek and work as a freelance professional musician with music groups out of the Detroit area. I will start with what my buddy Chis Codish said as I cannot say it any better " I enjoy all types of music and I really don't belong to a certain "trend" or "scene". I lean towards Jazz/Funk/Blues but I appreciate good music wherever I find it, whatever the style is. Chops/technical knowledge is fine, but it's not the end all be all. It comes down to feeling and intent whether it's jazz, blues, rock, etc. If it touches me, I dig it. In my mind there are two types of music, Good and Bad."I am still a single individual traveling the earthly plains in search of truth, harmony and happiness. Music is a gift and a curse. It can make you the happiest and the most stupified. All in all roll with it and if it doesnt kill you it will hopefully make you a stronger individual. I am still searching for the unattainable, and dreaming of life of music and no terms. I'm holdin on...and listenin to my man Sam Cooke. A change is gonna come. ;)
