The MUGSHOTS

Everything started back in springtime 2001, when Mickey Evil decided to give life to a horror punk/wave band inspired by the mixture of obscure rock and theatrical performances first created by Alice Cooper (better: Arthur Brown!) at the end of the 60's. So he started writing down some songs, along with lyrics regarding notorious serial killers and their way to live normal life looking through the "lens" of mental illness. While writing down some lyrics in a dirty YMCA room in Manhattan, one night he found out that the name THE MUGSHOTS perfectly fit! Actually, he was looking at a John Wayne Gacy's (the “killer clown”) mugshot when this idea struck...
