About Me

i do not check this site often, but promise if you leave a message i'll get back to you when i can.i spend most of my time making my faboo 136 year old Victorian house even more faboo, turning the world Vegan, spending time with the best husband in the world and disliking children, religion, and hunters (or pretty much anything that causes conflict, death, and social disintegration).i am also three degrees from Kevin Bacon. yeah--i'm THAT cool.

My Interests

animal rights, being vegan, other vegans, music, classic literature, movies, intelligent discussion, rum and cokes, philosophy, tori amos, vampyres, rob zombie, middle eastern food, jack kerouac, papa hemingway, camus, lenny bruce, the beat generation, anti-religious sentiment, anthropology, mick jagger's divvies, ancient egypt, art, dali, gardening, halloween, New England accents, salem and haunted happenings, joop, netflix, the green movement, monkeys--especially vampyre monkeys, cows, existentialism, pterry, Method products, childless by choice, black boots, black clothes, the colour black, spooky things, being a dork, hockey-go red wings, bats, living by candlelight and loving the dark, invader zim (GIR), disco balls, edward gorey, the dalai lama, laughing at myself, black onyx and silver, nola, buddhist philosophy, pinhead, my seXXXy man, shiny things, especially shiny things that change colors!, and glitter. glitter makes everything better.

I'd like to meet:

jack kerouac, but he's dead. papa hemingway, but he's dead, too. rob zombie, but i think there's a restraining order involved. of course, vegans and non-conformists.

Music:

i LOVE music. i listen to every genre but country. i love rock, techno, classical, classic rock (especially the stones), old skool country (like patsy cline), 90's grunge, 80's synth, 60's anti-war songs, 50's do-wop. I've seen over 100 concerts(ok, 16 of those were Tori Amos).

Movies:

anything with vampyres, kiefer sutherland, chris walken, philip seymour hoffman or gary oldham. i like most everything but mushy girlie crap and mainstream brainless attacks on my intelligence. i love horror movies, political thrillers, german and french expressionist films, and art house indie films.

Television:

i don't watch TV. i'm never in that much of a need to stupefy and normalize myself.

Books:

anything from the beat generation-kerouac, ginsberg, and the gang (especially kerouac), hemingway, bukowski, satre, camus, classic literature, existential and humanist philosophy.

Heroes:

vegans and all those who support and are active in direct action for animal rights.
