About Me

The United for Wildlife rehabilitation center has closed it's doors as of this week (9/6/06). But, fear not! With or without an official facility, we are all still here caring for the wildlife of NYC.
Wildlife are losing their homes everyday due to the over-construction taking place in our city. This brings the number of animals being brought to us to a near-crisis level.
Everyday, we take in raccoons, squirrels, opossums, birds, hares, reptiles and other wild animals in need of rehabilitation. Our goal is to care for these animals until they are well enough to be released back into the wild.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators, Friends of animals, financial contributors

Music:

The sounds of birds chirping, raccoons chittering and snakes hissing.
