Artists for Animals
I began in 2003 in Seattle, Washington as a popular annual event featuring a diverse array of visual, performance, and (pop) rock artists donating a percentage of their work to encourage the humane treatment of animals.
I had so much fun in Seattle that my organizers decided to take me on the road. Please sign up as my *friend* or drop me a line if you are interested in receiving updates about the tour schedule (tentatively planned for 2007) or participating.
We are looking for bands, visual artists, performance artists, and other entertainment ideas you might have. Please submit your ideas to us.
Tyhot! will be the traveling show that benefits animals, with a percentage of profits heading right to a national non-profit group or groups that focus on having the greatest impact on reducing suffering by targeting farm animals. In addition, a percentage of profit will also be directed toward each local animal rights group in the city we perform.
