About Me

Owner of Electric Tiki Design, Inc. We make cool statues of nostalgia characters. My Websites are www.electrictiki.com for the aformentioned statues and www.tdog-art.com for my personal artwork(which includes animation, pin-up art and sketchbook). I'm from a small town in SC called Hartsville and graduated from Thomas Hart Academy in 1985. I studied art at the Columbus College of Art and Design from 1985-1989. I won an internship at Disney Feature animation in Orlando, FL in 1989 and worked as an animator for them for the next 13 years. I was lucky to work on such films as Beauty and The Beast, The Lion King, and Tarzan before my contract ended in 2001. I knew traditional animation was coming to an end at Disney so I chose not to renew my contract and decided to start Electric Tiki Design instead. It has been a rough Journey, but we will celebrate our 5th anniversary in 2006 and the rewards have been great. I still dip my finger in the animation waters from time to time, having worked on Looney Tunes: Back in Action and the recent Fat Albert movie. Please visit my web sites to see more of my work.
