About Me

Hi.
I'm Paige, Paige Pumphrey. ^__^
But most people know me as...
...Paigey!
This is basically serving as my website until I get off my lazy bum and get a 'real' website, which might happen someday, but honestly Myspace makes it so easy with everyone and their mom already on it, so I figure why bother. I get more than enough 'foot traffic' being on here, it's the internet's equivalent to having a store in a mall. Much better for business. But yeah, anyways, I draw stuff, and here you can see alot of it. I can be hired for commissions, the info for that is all down below, message me with any questions.

As for me- I used to live in Maryland but moved up to Brooklyn, New York in the spring of 2007 to live with my boyfriend and fellow Kubert School alum Phil Balsman, whom I'm super-crazy happy-time in love with. My day job is a designer for the tshirt company Freeze in Manhattan for their menswear department. I get to draw tshirts for various licenses, including Hanna Barbera, Looney Tunes, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Zoolander, Wedding Crashers, Planet Earth and random ghetto and biker/ tattoo-themed art, that's sold in Hot Topic, Wal-Mart, JC Penny's and Urban Outfitters. One of my favorite things I get to do is thugged-out Bugs Bunny and Taz with all the fancy foil and rhinestone 'bling', which is hilarious. There's a whole album in my pics of stuff I do at work that's worth checking out if you get the chance. When I'm not working I'm usually at home drawing, sleeping, watching tv or playing videogames, or I make my 'rare public appearances' at various bars n' shit in NYC. ^__^
So here's bunch of pictures of me!
I'm also found on these other sites. Be sure to pop by and say 'Hello!':

I'm not much of a 'reader', per se. I think I have ADD when it comes to black and white words on paper, they need pictures, and I'm a visual person! That's where this whole drawing comic books thing comes in! There ya go!
But what comics I read include: old school Claremont run X-Men, Preacher, Kabuki, Scud: The Disposable Assassin, Love & Rockets, The Walking Dead, Sin City, Danger Girl, Transmetropolitan, Grrl Scouts, Vertigo goodness, The Punisher, anything Adam Warren touches and if anything good ever comes out again I'll read that, but most likely it'll get cancelled right when I start to get into it. But I'm not embittered. ^__^
